A group set up in November 2009 to promote, encourage and enable more cycling in Highland Perthshire for both locals and visitors with a view to becoming a Cycle Friendly Community. We achieve this through a range of activities such as events, workshops, school cycle activities, working with businesses and more. In November 2011 we were awarded Cycle Friendly Community of the year by Cycling Scotland.

Every year we run a cycling festival with a variety of different events for all.

Cycling Scotland are the national cycle promotion organisation for Scotland. They are working to establish cycling as an acceptable, attractive and practical lifestyle option.
They run Cycle Friendly Schools and Cycle Friendly Employer schemes and promote the concept of Cycle Friendly Communities. Highland Perthshire Cycling won Cycle Friendly Community of the year in November 2011. We are working with them to develop the Cycle Friendly Community concept in Highland Perthshire and to establish criteria for measuring our success. We hope to put in Cycle Friendly Community signage in the area.
